Monster Heart Medic is an adventure game where you must help diagnose a friendly monster named Ragnar and guide him on his path to a healthier life. Through animations, simulations, achievements, and arcade games, you will learn about cardiovascular conditions and what steps can be taken to keep you and your monster healthy.

All of the health recommendations that players encounter in the game come from established sources, including the National Institutes of Health, American Heart Association, and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

HISTORY

The Lawrence Hall of Science, the University of California, Berkeley’s public science center, has been providing parents, kids, and educators with opportunities to engage with science since 1968. In the mobile environment, the Hall has produced a series of DIY informal science learning apps that have been featured in Wired Magazine, Gizmodo UK, FamilyFun Magazine, and Homeschool.com and won a Parents’ Choice Silver Medal.
